HOW TO REACH

It is located 5-6 kms from Odisha border inside Andhra Pradesh. Tarabu is easily accessible from Odisha but difficult to get from Andhra Pradesh because of the hilly terrain.

Located approximately 120 kms from Araku via Paderu and there to Kumada where the roads are good but then we need to take off road for almost an hour to reach Pittalaborra where the water falls is located. The trekking should be done from the middle of the forest which is adventurous. Though the level of difficulty to reach the Tarabu Waterfalls is high, one can be rewarded with a spectacular view of the plunging Milky white water.

DISTANCE FROM VIZAG

Tarabu Waterfalls is located approximately 172 kms from Vizag, and can be reached via road transport. It takes almost five and half hours to reach the place apart from trekking. From Vizag to Anakapalli, Chodavaram, Paderu, these waterfalls can be reached.

DISTANCE FROM SILERU

Tarabu waterfalls can also be accessed from Sileru which is approximately 57 kms and the time taken will be around one hour twenty five minutes via Chitrakonda.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

As the Tarabu waterfalls are not very well developed tourist destinations, one can plan to visit the place from January to May.
